Bandon GAA Jubilee 1974/1975/1999 Teams

On Saturday night 8 March 2025, Bandon GAA club celebrated our Jubilee teams for the 1974, 1975 and 1999 Cork GAA county championship wins. It was a wonderful occasion as players and team management from all three teams gathered in the GAA Pavilion.

MC for the night Colman O’Mahony provided a history on the path to the county finals combined with The Southern Star “Old Timer” match reports from the late Denis Burke. We remembered the players and mentors who sadly are no longer with us. It was lovely to have their family members present. Brendan Fogarty, Vice Chairperson, presented each individual with a plaque in recognition and acknowlegement of their past achievements. Refreshments and music followed the team photos, with many regaling the winning scores and the scores missed. Thanks to all club members who helped organise this event and helped out on the night. A great night for the club.

Save The Date -> Sat 7th Dec 2024

Reggie from Blackrock Road is the richest man in Ireland. (But not for tax purposes.) and is the outgoing President of COCI (The Captains of Cork Industry). Broadcasting from his €6.8 million mansion on the Blackrock Road, he has over 80,000 followers on social media attracted by his videos mocking Liz Truss, northsiders, Kerry people and Kanturk.

After years of tyranny under Michael D. Higgins, Reggie has decided to run for Uachtarán na hÉireann. In the run up to the election in 2025, Reggie will visit all corners of Ireland. His tour will take him to the northside of Cork, minor cities such as Dublin and Limerick, which have been by-passed by progress and advances in personal hygiene.
Reggie will be in the Bandon GAA Pavilion on Sat 7th December, reaching out to the ordinary people of the Bandon community without touching them, unless they are absolutely gorgeous. Live music with Donal O Mahony in the Front Bar after the show.
